I'm tired of people saying hope, love and optimism is naive.

I acknowledge that the structures that are in place are oppressive.

I acknowledge that the way capitalism works is a sausage factory of disease.

I acknowledge that all of the people who run the cogs of government benefit from our unconsciousness.

I acknowledge that we are simply a grain of sand on a coast.

I acknowledge that we have damaged our earth and our neighbours

I acknowledge that it's fucking hard to love in the darkness.

I acknowledge that we are selfish and ignorant.

I acknowledge that people are suffering.

I acknowledge that people are dying.

I acknowledge that our resources seem scarce.

I acknowledge fear and its paralysis.

I acknowledge loneliness, doubt and isolation

I acknowledge trauma, panic and guilt.

I acknowledge grief for what we have lost.

I acknowledge rage and anger towards others.

So I must also acknowledge these truths.

I acknowledge laughter as the most delicious medicine there is.

I acknowledge that love is infinitely more powerful than fear.

I acknowledge that a smile spreads faster than a virus.

I acknowledge that silence is more powerful than noise.

I acknowledge that community can do more than individualism.

I acknowledge that feeling your feelings is a superpower.

I acknowledge that believing in yourself is key to liberation.

I acknowledge that friendship is part of your spine.

I acknowledge that authenticity means showing all of it when you decide.

I acknowledge that darkness is only light that is yet to discover itself.

I acknowledge that nature is not a side dish, it is the main course.

I acknowledge that changing inside, changes the outside.

I acknowledge you.

Whatever you are feeling, it's okay.

Whatever you are doing, it's okay.

You are accepted in this moment.

You are loved in this moment.

Exhale. Let go.

You don't have to believe in love. It is not just a thought.

Love is known in you. All you have to do, is give yourself the space and permission to feel it.

I acknowledge you.
